Why choose Fine Flowers over bigger online flower companies?
Because we’re real people, making real flowers, right here in Rugeley.
We don’t outsource. We don’t do cookie-cutter bouquets. We know our customers by name, our flowers by scent, and we truly care about every order that leaves our shop.
Whether you’re down the road or ordering from afar, you’ll get a handmade touch and a lot of love with every petal.
How long do fresh flowers last, and how can I help them stay beautiful?
Most of our fresh flowers last around 5–7 days, depending on the variety and how they’re cared for.
To help them last:
-
Trim the stems on arrival (on an angle is best)
-
Use the flower food we include
-
Change the water every couple of days
-
Keep them somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight
If you treat them kindly, they’ll thank you with extra days of joy.
What’s the difference between dried and artificial flowers?
Great question – we get asked this a lot.
-
Dried flowers are real flowers that have been carefully preserved. They’re natural, last for months (or years!), and have a softer, more rustic charm.
-
Artificial flowers (which we mostly use in our wreaths) are made from high-quality silk or fabric. They look just as lovely, never fade, and are great for door displays or allergy-sensitive homes.
If you’re after something low-maintenance with real character, dried flowers are ideal. If you want something bold, colourful, and weatherproof, go for artificial.
Can I send flowers as a gift directly to someone else?
Yes – and we’ll make it extra lovely.
You can add a personalised message at checkout, and we’ll handwrite it for you. Your bouquet will be wrapped beautifully and delivered with care.
Do you do wedding flowers?
Yes, we do. We've been creating wedding flowers for over 20 years, from bridal bouquets to buttonholes and everything in between. Have a look at our wedding flowers page to see more, or get in touch to start your enquiry.
